I'm going to AFRICA!!!

The first post:

Friends and family- thank you all sooo much for taking time to read my blog. I am more excited than I could've ever imagined for this opportunity God has dropped in my lap and it would mean the world for you to 'come along with me' through my blog. I plan to do my best at keeping it updated and of course full of pictures and stories, thoughts and silly comments. Im not much of a writer, so I'm sure you'll have to bear with me at times!

For the next few weeks I plan on working on the funding for my service term, trusting that God will provide in the short time before I leave, and then of course all the shots and packing and praying and travel arrangements... should be an exciting start to 2010!
